Crete on a plate: A delicious dakos salad using the purest and best quality products. Tomatoes and barley rusk combined with GAEA Estate Kritsa Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the best olives from Kalamata and smooth feta spread with yogurt.

1 barley rusk

1 large organic mature tomato

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of salt



3 tablespoons of GAEA Estate Kritsa Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tablespoon of GAEA feta spread with yogurt

4-5 GAEA WHOLE KALAMATA OLIVES for the garnishment


Place the barley rusk in a dish.

Cut the tomato in two pieces. Half of the tomato should be cut into small dice as the other half should be grated.


Put the grated tomato in a bowl. Stir in sugar, salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture on the barley rusk and top off with Kritsa Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Add the tomato dice and their juice.

Add the GAEA Feta spread with yogurt. Top off once more with Kritsa Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil and optionally with oregano.

Garnish the plate with GAEA WHOLE KALAMATA OLIVES and serve.
